Who are you?

I’m a graduate student at George Washington University studying Forensic Science with a concentration in Crime Scene Investigation.

Are you single?

No, I’ve been very happily married for over a year two years now (yay us!).

What kind of music do you listen to?

I tend not to limit the types of music I listen to. I’ll listen to most rock, a little pop, some country, and a smidgin of hip-hop.

Way to dodge the question. Ok, what bands do you listen to?

I listen to a wide variety of bands.  Here are a select few of my favorites:

Where are you from?

I hail from Chesapeake, VA, about 20 minutes west of Virginia Beach, VA. But I currently reside in Fairfax, VA, about 20 minutes west of Washington, DC.

What hobbies do you partake in?

Photography, camping, cooking, eating, sleeping, and the occasional juggling.

Why do you write this blog?

I guess you could count it as one of my hobbies. It gives me a good place to write about things that I think about or things that I find funny and want to share with others.

So are you going to be one of those CSI’s, like on the TV show?

Possibly, but not as exaggerated as it is done on the shows.  I’m interested in a number of different jobs once I graduate.  I’m looking into being either a crime scene investigator, a firearms and toolmark examiner, a trace evidence examiner, a questioned document examiner, or a latent fingerprint examiner.  I’m pretty much open to anything except DNA, toxicology, and pathology (mainly because I don’t have the education to do those jobs).
