South Carolina Shot Glass
Here’s another shot glass that my parents got for Cheri and I on one of their many visits to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This shot glass features a wide assortment of items that epitomize South Carolinian culture–including, but not limited to, sailboats, seagulls, and lighthouses. The design on this glass was so widespread that I took two pictures of it to capture it all.
In the middle of the glass there is the South Carolina state flag. For the longest time I’ve seen people with bumper stickers with that palmetto and crescent moon design and never knew what it meant. I always thought it was something Muslim related, but I guess I was wrong. Its just the SC state flag.
Throny’s Steakhouse and Saloon Shot Glass
This is a shot glass from Thorny’s Steakhouse and Saloon. I’m not quite sure where this is exactly. I think it is somewhere in Myrtle Beach, SC. I say this because my parents got this shot glass for us on one of their vacations down to Myrtle Beach.
UPDATE: I found the website for Thorny’s. And I was right, its some restaurant in Myrtle Beach, SC.
